The communication style adopted is efficient because of its very ability to "engage" and approach the style of others and to persuade through a behaviour that is empathically "molded around" the person one is addressing.

The purpose of the test is to survey the four areas of communication to find which behaviour has been employed through the adoption of a particular style.

Depending on the needs, the focus will switch to:

the action, favouring pragmatism and concreteness,

the method, aiming at the systematic adoption of procedures,

the people, concentrating on relationships between individuals, or

the idea, focusing attention on creativity and realisation of the company's vision.

The goal is then to analyse the more fruitful areas of communication and how feasible it is by examining one's own profile to become more aware of others and of their communication styles.
